A team from the Faculty of Law at the Somali National University (SNU) was among several universities invited to take part a competition focused on International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Ultimately, the team representing SNU has advanced to the final stage. They will compete against another team from the Faculty of Law and Sharia at Mogadishu University. The team that wins first place is expected to participate in an academic competition on IHL that will take place in Nairobi, with participation from leading universities across Africa. The competition is being organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and is scheduled to take place on September 11.
